With Oddbirdity, it isn’t about becoming someone new. It is about embracing who you are at your core and being more fully yourself in all contexts. When we talk about “change” at Oddbirdity, it isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about adapting our behaviors and choices to better reflect who we truly are at our core.
We don’t believe that people need to be “fixed.” Rather, we believe that people need permission to stop measuring themselves against someone else’s expectations. Our coaching aims to help you find that permission within yourself so that your strengths can flourish and you can fly the path that is unique to only you.
There is no right or wrong way to do it. It is simply and powerfully yours.

Yes! While both practices can build space for personal growth, therapy often focuses on healing and processing past events and trauma. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused and aimed at current or anticipated challenges to move forward, rather than stay stuck in the past.
Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or other mental health treatment, but coaching and therapy can complement each other well. At Oddbirdity, we will always let clients know if a different practice may be better suited for their needs.

Coaching can benefit anyone, but it is particularly helpful if someone is feeling stuck, navigating a life change, seeking clarity on a recent challenge, or wanting to better understand themselves and what they truly want.
You don’t have to know everything or have it all figured out—that’s what the coaching process is for!

Coaching conversations are client-centered and goal-focused. Each session will begin with agreeing on what the goal of the current session is. This may be a goal unique to just this session, or more largely tied to the coaching relationship as a whole. As always, you are never expected to exactly “know” what your goal is—part of the coaching process is bringing clarity to what we truly want!
Once a goal is set, we will move through powerful questions, reflections and exercises that are tailored to help you move towards your goal. As always, the client is at the center of the process, allowing you to hold the steering wheel for where you’d like the conversation to go.
Every coaching session ends with a thoughtful reflection on our progress toward the stated goal, creating a conclusion to the current interaction and setting the stage for post-session learning.

Nope! While I will absolutely share my observations, ask challenging questions, and offer tools when appropriate, my role is not to direct your life. Rather, my role as a coach is to help you make your own decisions that are aligned with your values and goals.

After completing your first, free Discovery Call and deciding that Oddbirdity coaching is the best fit for you, you will be sent a link to purchase your package and schedule your first session at your convenience. Coaching sessions are only available on weekdays, but there is some flexibility on time of day if needed.
All coaching sessions are one-hour long and held virtually via Google Meet, so you can receive coaching wherever you are! Cameras can be on or off based on client-request.
The cadence of coaching sessions depends entirely on client needs. I recommend 2-3 weeks between sessions, but anything between 1 week and 1 month between sessions is typically appropriate.
